The only person better than Dr. Yap himself, is Sister Kay. It was back in March 2011 when I went on the internet to enquire about breast reduction surgery. This is when Sister Kay first appeared. Being from America, my first thought was that she was a Nun, who is also a nurse; I mean who ever called a nurse a “sister?” I made the appointment to meet Dr. Yap, through Sister Kay via internet. When I arrived at Dr. Yap’s office that first time, I was greeted by Sister Kay in the Lobby. I was wondering if she would be wearing a Habit. No, she was smartly dressed in lovely pants suit. This is when I learned that in England senior nurses are addressed as “Sister.”

Well, as my journey continued through a few different procedures with Dr. Yap over the past six years, Sister Kay has been by my side every step of the way. I have enjoyed setting up appointments and consultations through her, as opposed to going through a receptionist or secretary, or the horrors of some answering machine. Sister Kay will always return my calls or SMS in record-breaking time. She is very knowledgeable about all procedures and can answer any questions from how many hours the surgery would take to how many stitches I would need. Sister Kay would always ask me if I had any worries about a surgery; however, being the decisive person that I am, when I make up my mind to have a procedure done, I throw all caution to the wind and go for it. Hence, no time to get anxious or worry about anything.

On top of all of this, Sister Kay was extremely helpful with setting up the admissions and discharge procedures with the hospital. Being the particular and “hard to please” person that I am, I always have special requests. These requests include checking in at odd hours – like 9:00 PM the night before the surgery or insisting that my discharge paper work is 200% completed by 3:00 PM in the afternoon, so that I can head out.

Furthermore, Sister Kay is always smiling. Being a resident of KL, I have not experienced the “medical tourism” side of Sister Kay; however, I can imagine that it is second to none.

Good luck to all with your procedures and you are surely in good hands with Sister Kay, and also Dr. Yap.

I was wanting some improvement to my ageing facial skin and the beauty clinics I had visited were not giving me good enough results so I was introduced and recommended to Sister Kay McNaught by a friend and also by a general practitioner on the Gold Coast in Australia, both who had travelled to Malaysia for treatment and had been in her care.

As I was wanting to have plastic surgery at a price I could afford outside my home country I was very nervous.  Sister Kay’s prompt communication and answers to my queries made my decision to step outside of my comfort zone much easier.  She recommended a Plastic and Reconstruction Surgeon she had complete confidence in, and fully advised me about the hospitals they used. Sister Kay is very experienced, knowledgeable in all types of procedures and laid to rest any doubts I had.  She demonstrates an impressive professionalism.

She met me and took me to my first consultation with my surgeon.  They both spent time explaining the procedures thoroughly and also their experience. I have been to Kuala Lumpur two times now for procedures and have stayed at both Prince Court Medical Centre and I-Heal.  Sister Kay took me to and from these hospitals as well as taking care of the check-ins and discharges.  She collected me and took me to follow up appointments at the clinic as well.  I was very thankful for this as I was by myself for some of my stay in KL and to have someone so caring looking out for me was very reassuring.

Sister Kay’s English is perfect as she has lived in United Kingdom for many years.  Her concern for my wellbeing continued when I returned home to Australia through emails and social media.
I was impressed by the required medical checks needed from my medical practitioner before I was to arrive in Malaysia.  My reports indicated I was ok and would cope with the surgery.
However, on the day of my surgery a routine ECG was performed and it showed heart palpitations.  Dr Yap spoke to me advising he was unwilling to perform the surgery if it was going to put me at risk so advised me to undergo an echocardiogram.  An experienced cardiologist reviewed the results and as my heart did not show any abnormalities we were able to reschedule the surgery to another day.  I was disappointed but obviously thankful that no risks were going to be taken.  I was to have an endoscopic brow lift and a face and neck lift.  Dr Yap instead performed the brow lift and a fat graft to my lips, cheeks and hands.  I was to return at a later date for the face and neck lift.

The support I received from Sister Kay during this time was amazing.  She either came to see me or called me daily.  I knew she was a phone call away and could call her at any time, even after I had returned to Australia, which I did when I was ready to return for the next surgery.
Sister Kay took care of the arrangements for my next visit.  This time I was to go to I-Heal.
When I arrived this very kind lady took me to see the hospital before I was to be admitted.  No detail was left unattended to.  After the surgery, once again the care and support I received was faultless.  And, by the way, my appearance has improved greatly.

Sister Kay is a friendly, all round lovely person with a heart of gold.  She has amazing strength of character and compassion for others.  She has been instrumental in making my self-improvement quest very worthwhile and I have no hesitation in recommending Sister Kay for her knowledge, experience and total care.

I first met Sister Kay McNaught at my first consultation for Fat Graft to Face at PCMC 2012. Subsequently Sister Kay was my contact for Liposuction 2013, Breast Revision 2014 and Face Lift 2016.

I was first referred to Sister Kay through a friend who was living in Kuala Lumpur. Initial contact was via email where I found Sister Kay, who speaks beautiful English, to be very professional in guiding me through the process for the above procedures and recommending the Surgeon who would best be suited to my needs and also the appropriate Hospitals PCMC AND I-HEAL.

Sister Kay was very knowledgable with all of the above procedures and I felt very comfortable corresponding with her and the organisation of my stay in Kuala Lumpur.

On my first visit to Kuala Lumpur, Sister Kay met me at the entrance of PCMC and I immediately felt at ease with this sophisticated, glamorous, intelligent woman who gave me a tour around the hospital and then for my consultation with Dr Yap. Dr Yap was just as wonderful, he made me feel at ease with his gentle manner and professionalism.
I knew I had made a good decision to have this procedure here and with these people I felt I was in the most professional and caring Hospital.

On admission to PCMC Sister Kay once again handled the admission procedure, the discharge procedure and everything possible in between. Sister Kay was there for me the whole time I was at PCMC, she was beside me when I came out of surgery and visiting several times during the day/night, catering to all my needs. I could not have wished for better care and would certainly not have received this level of care in my own country.

Prior to my first introduction to Sister Kay and Dr Yap I was very apprehensive in seeking surgery advice in a foreign Asian country but at no time have I ever felt that it was anything but first class and extremely professional.

I have also referred several friends to contact Sister Kay McNaught re various surgeries.
They are also very happy they have met Sister Kay and had the same wonderful experience with her that I have and continue to experience with her excellent continuing friendship and advice on the telephone, email, facebook and skype.

I would highly recommend this experience
